- UCLA leads the series with Arizona State 23-16-1.
- UCLA has posted a 17-9 record in its last 26 games.
- UCLA has limited eight of its nine opponents to fewer than 20 points this season. It last held more than seven opponents to under 20 points in 1987 (nine).
- UCLA has yet to surrender a TD on an opponent’s opening drive this season – it has given up field goals to Oregon State and Colorado.
- Collin Schlee has rushed for at least 45 yards in four games this season (51 vs. Arizona State, 46 at Arizona, 80 at Oregon State, 60 vs. North Carolina Central).
- Collin Schlee made his first career start at quarterback for UCLA tonight against Arizona State. He started 11 games last season at Kent State.
- Collin Schlee’s fourth-quarter scoring pass to Logan Loya was his first career scoring pass as a Bruin.
- Logan Loya caught his fourth scoring pass of the season in the fourth quarter against Arizona State. He previously caught scoring passes against San Diego State, Washington State and Oregon State.
- With a catch against ASU, J.Michael Sturdivant has now made at least one reception in each of the past 22 games (10 with UCLA, 12 with Cal).
- With his 2.5 tackles for loss against Arizona State, Laiatu Latu upped his season total to 18.5 which is good for 11th place on the school list.
- With Kenny Churchwell III’s first-quarter interception, UCLA has forced at least one turnover in 23 of the last 26 contests. Churchwell’s pick was his first of the 2023 season and the second of his career. He intercepted a Fresno State pass in a 2021 game.
- Moliki Matavao’s second quarter 23-yard reception was his eighth reception of the season which has gained at least 20 yards.
- UCLA was scoreless in the first half of play against Arizona State. That marks the second time this season that the Bruins have not scored in the first half of action (also at Utah).
- Next up: UCLA will play at USC (7-3, 5-2 entering today’s action) next Saturday. The game time is yet to be determined.
