Bruins Capture Second At UCSB Tournament

Los Angeles-Defending NCAA men's volleyball champion UCLA captured second place at the UC Santa Barbara Elephant Bar & Restaurant Collegiate Tournament Saturday.
The Bruins lost 3-2 in the championship match to the host Gauchos after sweeping USC in the semifinals.
UCSB won 27-30, 20-30, 30-28, 30-26, 15-13.
In the semifinals UCLA defeated USC 30-28, 30-28, 30-23.
In the championship match UCLA sophomore Cameron Mount pounded 22 kills, followed by 14 from junior Matt Komer.
The Bruins will travel to UC Irvine next weekend to participate in the Wyndham Garden West Coast Challenge.
