The UCLA men's volleyball team dropped a three-game decision to top-ranked Pepperdine in Malibu on Saturday.

The Waves won 30-27, 30-19, 30-23 in 80 minutes before 1,874 spectators. The loss dropped UCLA to 14-13 overall, 9-11 in conference play. Pepperdine improved to 21-3, 18-2.

Junior Chris Pena led the Bruins with 13 kills (.360) and three block assists. Junior J.T. Wenger and sophomore Jonathan Acosta each added six kills.

Senior Brad Keenan led the Waves with 12 kills, followed by 11 from Sean Rooney.

The Waves held the Bruins to an attack percentage of .153 by outblocking them 17-3.

The Bruins will wrap the regular season with a two-match home-stand next weekend hosting Stanford (Apr. 11) and Pacific (Apr. 12).
