Box Score

Berkeley, Calif. (AP) - Noelle Quinn had a triple-double, and Lisa Willis added a career high of 31 points as UCLA cruised past California, 97-69, at Haas Pavilion Thursday night.

Quinn, a freshman, had 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to record the first triple-double of her career, and the first in the Pac-10 this season. It was just the fourth triple-double in UCLA (15-10, 10-6) history, and the first since Erica Gomez had one against USC on Feb. 24, 1996.

It was also Quinn's sixth straight game with 20 or more points. Renee Wright scored a season-high 11 points for Cal (9-15, 2-13), which has now lost 11 straight games.

Willis was almost as impressive as Quinn, hitting 12 of 18 from the field, including six of eight from beyond the arc, and added eight steals, seven rebounds and four assists in the Bruins' easy victory. Willis has been on fire the last three games, averaging 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.0 steals, and has been a big part of UCLA's six-game winning streak.

The Bruins used their size, speed and quickness to dominate the game from start to finish. They jumped out ahead 6-0, and never trailed, leading by 20 three times in the first half.

Willis had 18 points in the first 20 minutes, hitting all three of her three-pointers and matched Cal's team total with seven field goals. Willis, though, had only one miss while the Bears were seven of 27 as a team, and Cal never recovered from that slow start.
