Platzer was the Bruins' highest placing finisher at the NCAA Championships. She finished third in the 50m Free in a school record-setting time of 24.68 and fourth in the 100m Free in a time of 54.59. She set a school record in the preliminaries of the 100m Free, finishing in a time of 54.57.

Platzer was also a member of all five school record-setting relays. She swam the anchor leg on the 200 Free (sixth place - 1:41.18), 200 Medley (seventh place - 1:51.60) and 400 Medley Relays (ninth place - 4:03.37). She swam the third leg of UCLA's 400 Free Relay, which finished eighth in 3:43.69 and set a school record of 3:42.44 in the prelims. Platzer led off the 800 Free Relay, which finished 10th in a school record time of 8:01.58.

In her final NCAA Championships appearance, she earned seven All-America honors. This is Platzer's second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and third of her career.
