Streaking Bruins Win Fifth Straight

SEATTLE (AP) - Noelle Quinn scored 18 points and No. 22 UCLA defeated Washington 74-63 on Sunday.

The Bruins led by as many as 13 in the second half, but Washington pulled to 63-60 with 4 minutes to play on Emily Florence's hit a 3-pointer. UCLA countered with consecutive baskets to ensure the win.

The Bruins (11-3, 5-0 Pac 10) extended their winning streak to five games.

Nikki Blue finished with 15 points and nine rebounds and Lindsey Pluimer added 14 points for UCLA. The duo of Quinn and Blue combined for eight the Bruins' 14 steals.

Kristen O'Neill scored a career-high 19 points for the Huskies (6-10, 2-4 ).

Washington led by 10 points in the first half before the Bruins rallied with a 23-5 run. They held the Huskies scoreless over a 6-minute span and kept them without a field goal for 9 minutes.

UCLA led 39-29 at halftime.
