Danesha Adams Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete Of The Week

Adams scored two second-half goals to give No. 4 UCLA a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over No. 10 Pepperdine on Sunday. She scored on a pair of breakaways in the 64th and 67th minutes to give the Bruins their ninth-straight win over the Waves. She began the week with a goal in a 5-0 victory over UCSB on Wednesday. Adams, who finished the week with six points, leads the Bruins in scoring this season with 21 points (10g, 1a). She also has a team-high five game-winning goals.
This is Adams' first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and third of her career.
