
Jordan Farmar Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete Of The Week

Sophomore guard Jordan Farmar (Los Angeles, CA/Taft HS) of the UCLA Men's Basketball Team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week (Dec. 5-11).
Farmar scored a game-high tying 24 points (15 in the second half) on Saturday as No. 16 UCLA defeated No. 17 Nevada, 67-56, at the Wooden Classic. Farmar shot 10-13 from the field, including a perfect 3-3 from three-point range. His 10 field goals made tied his career high, and he also added two rebounds, one assist and two steals. With UCLA up by just one, 46-45, with 8:42 to play, Farmar scored seven points during a 10-2 Bruin run that upped the lead to 56-47 with 5:30 left.
This is Farmar's first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of his career.
