The No. 11 UCLA swimming and diving team stands in fourth place after day one of the 2005 Pac-10 Championships as the 200 Medley Relay team of Katie Arnold, Eileen Seissen, Kim Vandenberg and Amy Thurman broke the school record in a time of 1:40.75 to finish third overall.

The 800 Free Relay team of Vandenberg, Jane Imagane, Nelson and Shannon Hackett placed sixth in a time of 7:15.60.

The Pac-10 Championships continue on Thursday with preliminary races in the morning and finals in the evening.
