Top-Ranked Bruins Win Again in Hawaii

LAIE, Hawaii - For the second day in a row, No. 1 UCLA easily defeated Division II opponent Chaminade, 15-2, during Sunday's action at the BYU Hawaii Tournament. The Bruins improve to 3-0 on the young season.

Junior goalkeeper Will Didinger made nine saves in the victory and lowered his season goals against average to 2.67.

Senior John Blanchette, junior Grant Zider, sophomore Matt Jacobs and freshmen Krsto Sbutega and Russell Simpkins each contributed two goals for UCLA in the winning effort.

The Bruins have now outscored their opponents 60-8 in the first three contests of 2005.
