
No. 21 UCLA Beats Sacramento State in Consolation Game of Rainbow Wahine Classic

HONOLULU (AP) - Lindsey Pluimer scored a career-high 27 points and had eight rebounds to lead No. 21 UCLA to an 87-64 win over Sacramento State on Saturday.
Noelle Quinn added 12 points and 11 assists and Chinyere Ibekwe had 17 points and nine rebounds for UCLA (3-3) in a consolation game at the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Amanda Livingston added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Sophomore Atty Boyer led Sacramento State (1-5) with a career-best 23 points and eight rebounds.
Using a half-court trap, UCLA took a 10-point lead, 27-17. Boyer hit a shot at the buzzer to cut the gap at the half to 41-33.
UCLA quickly took a 21-point lead midway through the second half and held off the Hornets.
UCLA moved on to the fifth-place game. Sacramento State will play in the seventh-place game.
