Junior All-American Marisa Samaniego led the way for the Bruin divers on day one of the Hawaii Invitational in Honolulu as she finished third on three meter with a score of 279.05.

Junior Tess Schofield was sixth (235.90), junior Brittany Hill was seventh (231.10) and freshman Morgan Erpenbeck was eighth (218.60). All three, along with Samaniego competed in the final round of three meter.

In the prelim round, junior Shannon Pirozzi finished 11th (216.05) and freshman Laura Winn was 13th (206.30).

On Saturday, the Bruins will compete on one meter and platform to wrap up competition at the invitational.
