Junior Tess Schofield captured the Hawaii Invitational platform title on Saturday to lead the Bruin women on the final day of competition in Honolulu. Schofield posted a score of 249.45, 16 points better then her closest competitor.

Freshman Morgan Erpenbeck was third (224.80), junior Brittany Hill was fourth (215.40) and freshman Laura Winn was fifth (181.90) on platform.

On one meter, junior Marisa Samaniego led the way with her fifth-place showing (238.20). Junior Shannon Pirozzi finished seventh (227.75), Winn was eighth (217.65), Hill placed 10th (210.30), Schofield was 11th (203.55) and Erpenbeck finished 12th (200.80).

The Bruins will be off from competition until February 1 and 2 when they face off with Stanford and California in Pac-10 dual meet action.
