
Bruins Sweep Tigers at UCSB Invitational

The No.2 ranked UCLA men's volleyball team swept unranked Pacific in the second round of the 45th Annual UCSB Collegiate Invitational Friday night.
The Bruins won 30-25, 32-30, 30-26 to even their record to 1-1. Pacific fell to 0-2.
The Bruins served a total of 13 aces in the match, one shy of the school record. Junior setter Kevin Ker torched the Tigers for four of them, including three straight in Game 1.
Senior Sean O'Malley led UCLA with 13 kills (.420), followed by nine (.690) from senior D.J. Stromath. Freshman Nick Vogel added eight kills (.420).
UCLA will conclude the tournament with a 1:30 p.m. match on Saturday against UC Irvine.
