UCLA's 15th-ranked men's golf team fell to third place after two rounds at The Prestige at PGA West in LaQuinta, CA on Monday.

A day after firing an eight-under par team total to take the first round lead, the Bruins skied to a score of 299 (+11) and fell five shots behind TCU, which took over first place. The Horned Frogs were in first place at two-under par 574, followed by Stanford at 578 (+2) and the Bruins at 579 (+3). USC was fourth at 581 (+5) and Washington was fifth at 582 (+6).

Individually for the Bruins, freshman Pedro Figueiredo continued to stalk the leaders, posting a one-under par 71 for a 36-hole total of 140 (-4). He was tied for second place, four shots behind TCU's David Jennevret, who posted a 67 (-5) on Monday.

UCLA sophomore Alex Shi Yup Kim was tied for 17th place at 146 (+2) after carding a second round 74 (+2). Freshman Pontus Widegren and sophomore Gregor Main each shot scores of 78 (+6). Widegren was tied for 23rd at 147 (+3) and Main was tied for 27th at 148 (+4). Freshman Mario Clemens was tied for 32nd place at five-over par 149 after signing for a 76 (+4).

UCLA individuals Beau Schoolcraft and Bobby Lange were each tied for 72nd place at 159 (+15).

Final round action continues on Tuesday with morning tee times.
