
UCLA Falls in Three to Calgary

The UCLA men's volleyball team lost in three games to host Calgary Saturday night in the finals of the Husky Dino Cup.
Calgary won 25-21, 25-19, 25-19 and finished the tournament with a 3-1 victory -- the only loss coming to the Bruins Friday afternoon. UCLA finished with a 2-2 record.
Once again the UCLA middle scored well with senior Brett Perrine and sophomore Weston Dunlap combining for 26 kills. Both players hit better than .500. Freshman Chen Levitan added five kills. Senior setter Kevin Ker recorded 14 assists and three digs.
Perrine and libero Thomas Hastings were selected to the All-Tournament team. Calgary's David Egan was named the tournament's MVP.
For the tournament, Hastings recorded 10 digs and one service reception error.
UCLA will host the Alumni on Oct. 31 in Pauley Pavilion before hosting the SAC Tournament Nov. 20-21.
