Results

A trio of senior athletes and the distance medley relay led the men's track and field team on day one of the MPSF Indoor Championships in Seattle, WA.

Boldizsar Kocsor finished second in the weight throw (68-11.25), narrowly missing first-place by 1/2 inch. Kyle Shackleton ran an NCAA provisional qualifier and lifetime-best of 14:09.17 to finish seventh in the 5000m. His twin brother Drew finished in eighth, also with a lifetime-best, running 14:10.40 (just .40 seconds off of the NCAA provisional mark).

The distance medley relay team of Marlon Patterson (2:54), Elijah Wells (48.0), Cory Primm (1:50.9) and Laef Barnes (4:04) ran a season-best 9:37.28 to finish third overall.

Senior Kevin Craddock posted the second-fastest 60m hurdles time of the day (7.85) to advance to Saturday's final.

Competition concludes on Saturday at the MPSF Championships.
