Senior diver Marisa Samaniego has qualified for her fourth consecutive NCAA Championships with a second-place showing on three-meter at the NCAA Zone E Championships in Austin, TX today.

Samaniego's second-place finish guaranteed the senior a spot at Nationals as the top-three finishers on 3M advance to the NCAA meet. Samaniego posted a final score of 591.05 to finish second after posting the third-highest score in the preliminary round (282.40).

Also competing in the final was freshman Alyssa Robinson, who posted a score of 509.60 to place 13th overall. She was 16th after the prelim round with a score of 240.85.

Senior Brittany Hill missed the final by one spot, finishing 19th with a score of 237.00. Senior Tess Schofield finished 21st (230.05).

Competition continues on Friday with the one-meter springboard.
