Wildcat Invitational Results

Emma Ivory-Ganja led the Bruin divers on the final day of the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson as the frosh placed third overall. She was the second-best collegiate diver on tower as post-collegiate athletes were also competing.

Ivory Ganja posted a score of 229.85 on Sunday. Laura Winn, who graduated in June of 2011 and is training for the U.S. Olympic Trials, finished second with a score of 236.65.

Ivory-Ganja was the only current Bruin competing on tower.

The divers will take a break from collegiate competition in December as they head to Knoxville, TN for the USA Diving Winter National Qualifying Meet Dec. 15-16 and the Winter National Championships Dec. 17-22. Paulina Guzman, Maggy Boyd and Haley McNamara are all slated to compete during qualifying. Ivory-Ganja and Winn have pre-qualified for the meet and will be in action at Nationals. Incoming 2012 freshman Maggie Denison will also be competing on three-meter at Winter Nationals.
