The 7th ranked UCLA men's volleyball team ended their 2011 home season on a losing note, as they were swept by the Stanford Cardinal 3-0 in the home finale.

The Bruins fell to 16-12 on the year and are now 9-11 in MPSF play, good for 8th place in the conference. On the other side, Stanford improved to 18-8 on the year and 14-7 in conference play. Game scores were 25-18, 25-18 and 25-17.

Freshman Robart Page and junior Weston Dunlap led the Bruins with 8 kills each, with Page adding 5 digs and Dunlap adding 4 block assists as well. Senior Tom Hastings, playing in his final home match as a Bruin, led the team with 9 digs in the loss. In addition, junior Alex Scattareggia added 29 assists in the match.

Overall, the Bruins hit a dreadful .041 as a team while the Cardinal hit .283. Spencer McLachlin led Stanford with 10 kills.

The Bruins will be back on the court for their final series of the year on Thursday, April 14th against archrivals USC and Saturday, April 16th against Pepperdine.
