
Swimmers Wrap Up Day One of NCAA Championship

Kathryn Murphy, Anna Senko, Noelle Tarazona and the 400 medley relay team were in action on day one of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Auburn, AL.
Murphy, who was competing in the 50 freestyle, swam just off of her lifetime-best to finish 24th in the prelims with a time of 22.52. The top 16 finishers in each event advance to finals each evening.
In the 200 IM, Senko finished 30th with a time of 1:59.06, while Tarazona was 42nd with a mark of 2:00.02.
The 400 medley relay team of Senko, Allison Gargalikis, Yasi Jahanshahi and Murphy finished 20th overall with a time of 3:38.81.
Competition continues on Friday with the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and 800 freestyle relay.
