NCAA Announces Preliminary Championships Entries

The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee has announced the list of accepted entries into the 2013 NCAA West Preliminary Championships, set for May 23-25 in Austin, TX.
UCLA Track & Field captured 43 total entries (22 for the women, 21 for the men) for next week's NCAA West Preliminary Championships. The top 48 individual athletes for each individual event and the top 24 relay teams in each region (East and West) have been accepted into the preliminary competition.
For combined event athletes, there is no qualifying weekend in advance of the NCAA Championships, and the top 24 athletes in each region automatically advance.
