
Golfers Tied for Fifth after Round Two in the Desert

The 15-ranked Bruins posted a team score of 286 (+2) in the second round and were tied with San Diego State at even par 568. Stanford led the 12-team field at 19-under par 549, followed by Washington at 563 (-5) and Oregon at 566 (-2). LSU was fourth at 567 (-1).
On the individual leader board for UCLA, Chan fired a second round 69 (-2) and was tied for ninth place at two-under par 140. Next was sophomore Jonathan Garrick in a tie for 14th place at one under par 141 following his score of 72 (+1). Tied for 31st were senior Anton Arboleda and junior Jay Hwang at 144 (+2). Arboleda posted a score of 73 (+2) and Hwang carded a 72 (+1). Junior Matt Pinizzotto was tied for 37th at 145 (+3) following a round of 74 (+3). Finally, Jake Knapp, playing as an individual, was tied for 51st at 149 (+7) following a round of 74 (+3).
Stanford's Patrick Rodgers held the 36-hole lead at nine-under par 133 after his round of 68 (-3).
