
Bruins Win Twice at UCSB Invitational

Hill recorded eight saves in UCLA's 20-8 victory over 14th-ranked UC Santa Barbara and three saves in a 20-2 triumph against Cal Baptist. She ended the day with 747 career saves, one better than Nicolle Payne, who played at UCLA from 1995-98.
Senior Emily Donohoe and junior Rachel Fattal led the Bruins with four goals apiece in the game against the Gauchos. Junior Kodi Hill added three goals and junior Alys Williams and sophomores Mackenzie Barr and Kelsey O'Brien contributed two each. The Bruins led 11-4 at halftime and 16-6 after three quarters in winning their third straight game.
Freshman Devin Grab led UCLA with a career-high of four goals and three steals in the win against Cal Baptist, a team the Bruins beat for the second time this season. Williams added a goal and three assists.
The Bruins, 4-0 overall, meet Sonoma State and Long Beach State on Sunday.
