
Golfers Finish Fifth at Pasatiempo on Sunday

The Bruins compiled at 54-hole total of 1,086 (+36) in the six-player-count-five format. Texas won the event with a score of 1,052 (+2) on the strength of a final round 340 (-10). Oregon placed second at 16-over par 1,066, followed by Stanford at 17-over 1,067. Arizona State finished fourth at 1,075 (+25) followed by fifth-place Washington at 35-over par 1,085.
UCLA's best individual score of the day belonged to junior Lorens Chan, who rose 22 spots up the leader board to tie for 40th place following a final round 69 (-1). Senior Matt Pinizzotto was the Bruins' top finisher, tying for 12th place at 212 (+2) after posting a 70 (E) in the final round. Tied for 17th place was junior Jonathan Garrick at 5-over par 215 after carding a round of 75 (+3). Junior Jake Knapp and senior Kyle Pollema tied for 51st and 54th, respectively. Knapp posted a 72 (+2) and Pollema recorded the drop score of 76 (+6).
Senior Manav Shah, playing as an individual, tied for 26th place at 7-over par 217 after posting a Sunday score of 74 (+4).
Scottie Scheffler of Texas won the individual title with a 9-under par total of 201 after posting a final round of 67 (-3).
