The Bruins won their 100th all-time game against the 49ers.

The Bruins were led by freshman Nicolas Saveljic's three goals on the night. Senior Jesse Camou and freshman Chasen Travisano each scored twice for UCLA. Redshirt sophomore Alex Wolf played the entire game in the cage for the Bruins, making 13 saves while allowing six goals.
Saveljic won the opening sprint and then fired a shot from the front court that put UCLA up 1-0 (7:35). Travisano made it 2-0 with a goal at the 6:00 mark. Jacob Fujioka ended the scoring in the first with a power play goal for the 49ers (2:40) to cut the lead to 2-1.
Camou opened the scoring in the second period with his first goal of the game (4:44) to put UCLA up 3-1. Senior Max Irving scored a power play goal to push the lead to 4-1 with 3:20 left in the first half. But the 49ers' Austin Stewart scored on a counter (2:03) and Nemanja Bakic scored from the front court (0:58) to end the scoring in the period with UCLA clinging to a 4-3 lead at the break.
Saveljic scored his second of the game to open the scoring in the third quarter (4:55) to put UCLA up 5-3. LBSU's Chandler Kaltenbach scored the period's only other goal to cut the Bruins' lead to 5-4 heading into the fourth.
Saveljic then completed his hat trick with a power play goal (4:50) to open the scoring in the fourth. Camou scored his second of the game on a counter (4:15) to push the lead to 7-4. Duncan Lynde cut it to 7-5 with a power play goal for the 49ers (3:42).But Travisano scored his second of the game to push the lead back to three at 8-5 with 2:57 left. Bakic added his second of the game on a power play (0:33) to provide the 8-6 final.
The Bruins return to action on Saturday, Oct. 21 to open up MPSF play against No. 3 California at 11:00 a.m. PT live on the Pac-12 Networks at Dirks Pool at Spieker Aquatics Center.
