The Bruins defeated Washington, 4-1, and Concordia, 5-0, at the Battle at the Beach at Ocean Park.

SANTA MONICA, Calif.ย -- No. 3 UCLA (23-2) posted two dual home wins on a very windy Saturdayย atย Ocean Park at the Battle at the Beachย to extendย its school-record winning streak to 21 consecutive duals. The Bruins began with a 4-1 win over Washingtonย (2-2) and concluded the day with a 5-0 sweep of Concordia (9-5).
In the win over Washington, senior Jordan Anderson and sophomore Izzy Carey took down Anna Crabtree and Carly DeHoogย on court four in straight sets, 21-15, 21-14.
Junior Elise Zappia and freshman Torrey Van Windenย then put UCLA up 2-0 with a 21-11, 21-8 win over UW'sย Destiny Julye and Shayne McPersonย on court three.
The Bruins clinched the win on court one as Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara defeated Washington's Crissy Jones and Tia Scambray, 21-13, 21-10.
The UCLA freshman pair of Savvy Simo and Lily Justine put the Bruins up 4-0 on court five with a straight-set win over the Huskies' Mel Wade and Lindsay Chalmers, 21-9, 21-19.
Courtney Schwan and Cassie Strickland helped Washington avoid the sweep with a 24-22, 21-17 win on court two overย UCLA's seniorย Kamila Tan and freshman Madi Yeomans.

In the second match of the day, the Bruins' twin tandem ofย sophomores Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara beat Concordia'sย Amber Rose and Logan Grove, 21-10, 21-7, on court one.
Court five saw another easy win asย freshmen Chanti Holroyd and Lily Justineย teamed up to defeat CUI'sย Jaclyn Brown and Erica Anthony, 21-11, 21-10, to put UCLA up 2-0.
The Bruins' pair on court four of sophomore Izzy Carey and senior Jordan Anderson, clinched the dual win by defeating the Eagles' Keathley Avery and Marcela Frazzoni, 21-12, 21-15.
UCLA went up 4-0 after a straight-set win on court two byย freshman Madi Yeomans and senior Kamila Tan. The Bruin duo took down Katie Napier and Cindy Tran, 21-5, 21-13.
The sweep was completed on court three as freshman Torrey Van Winden and junior Elise Zappiaย had no trouble with Concordia's Kylie Breitenwischer and Madeline Deters, 21-11, 21-9.
The Bruins will conclude their home schedule and honors the two seniors, Tan and Anderson, tomorrow in the final day of the Battle at the Beach at Ocean Park. UCLAย will square off with #5 Long Beach State (19-3) at Noon and then take on #8 Arizona (12-7)ย at 2:00 p.m.
