The Bruins won their 15th consecutive dual on Friday morning at the Surf & Turf Invitational.

MIAMIย -- No. 2 UCLA won its 15th consecutive dualย with a 4-1 victory over No. 7 Florida Stateย (12-6) on Friday morningย at Lummusย Park Beachย Courts. It marked the second win over Florida State this season.
The Bruins, who improved to 20-3 on the season, will face No. 12 FIU later today.
UCLA opened the day with a straight-set win on court three when juniorย Zana Muno and sophomore Savvy Simoย defeated Florida State's Alminaย Chacon and Tory Paranagua, 21-13, 21-15.
Moments later the Seminoles tied the dual at 1-1 as Katie Horton and Hailey Luke defeated junior Sarah Sponcil and sophomore Lily Justine on court two in two tight sets, 21-19, 21-19.
Senior Elise Zappia and freshman Mac May put the Bruins up 2-1 with a straight-set win over FSU's Brooke Kuhlmanย and Molly McBain, 22-20, 21-17.
Juniorsย Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara clinched the dual with a three-set win on court one over the Seminoles' Vanessa Freireย and Sara Putt, 21-15, 16-21, 15-13.
Freshman Megan Muret and junior Izzy Carey provided the final point for the Bruins on court five with another three-set victory. The duo outlasted Francesca Goncalves and Madison Fitzpatrick, 14-21, 33-31, 15-12.
In an exhibition match on court six, the Bruins' freshman tandem of Jamie McQuarrie and Cami Sanchez were defeated by FSU's Nikkyย Esposito and Eva Torruella, 21-13, 21-9.
