UCLA Announces 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

The 2025 UCLA women's soccer season will begin on Aug. 14 with a non-conference matchup at Georgia. The Bruins will play the first of nine home contests on Aug. 20 against Tennessee.ย
UCLA will play 11 teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament - Georgia, Tennessee, BYU, Stanford, Michigan State, Rutgers, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and USC. The Bruins begin conference play on Sept. 13 against Oregon and conclude the regular season on Oct. 26 against USC.
In 2024, the Bruins' first season in the Big Ten Conference, UCLA finished second in regular season play but rolled through the Big Ten Tournament, posting three shutouts, including a historic 5-0 win over Rutgers in the Championship game. UCLA advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and finished with a 17-4-3 overall record.ย
UCLA returns six players who recorded double-digit starts in 2024, including all-conference players Val Vargas and Nicki Fraser. The Bruins also return the services of redshirt seniors Emma Egizii and Lexi Wright, who missed 2024 with injuries.ย
Head coach Margueritte Aozasa signed a robust recruiting class, highlighted by U.S. Youth National Team players Sofia Atehortua, Cassidy Doogan, Daphne Nakfoor, Leena Powell and Grace Shank, and Egyptian Youth National Team player Laila Edris. Also joining UCLA in 2025 are transfers Oruha Hayashi, Jennie Immethun and Julia Molnar and freshmen Payton Cooper, Jordyn Dunn and Siena Meyer.ย
