Bilić, Croatia Advance to Quarterfinals at U18 Women’s EuroBasket Div. B

LOS ANGELES – Incoming freshman Lena Bilić advances to the quarterfinals at the 2025 FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B in Lithuania with the Croatian junior national team after going 4-0 in Group D.
The Bruin will face Iceland in the quarterfinal Friday; the tournament will continue until the Final on July 13, with Classification Games also determining each of the 21 positions. The top three teams will be promoted to next summer's FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket tournament.

Big Time Bilić in Group Play
Bilić opened the tournament by hitting a game-winning jump shot from the short corner against Great Britain, lifting Croatia past the Brits 70-69. She had 23 points, six rebounds, a steal and a pair of blocks in 34 minutes in her first appearance. She followed that performance with a 15-point outing in just 17 minutes played in Croatia's 108-32 blowout of Norway. Her 24 points against Bulgaria, where she also picked up six steals and two blocks, helped Croatia cruise to a 21-point victory in the third-consecutive day of games. In the final game of group play, Bilić had a scorcher to lift the Croatian junior national team to a 100-98 victory over Denmark. She scored 32 points on 10-for-18 shooting (3-for 6 3FG) and made nine of her 10 free throw attempts in the win; Bilić stuffed the stat sheet with five rebounds, seven assists and five steals to close out the group stage.
The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging a tournament-best 23.5 points per game, ranking first at the U18 competition. She is also averaging 5.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.3 steals and 1.5 blocks. She boasts .427/.324/.826 shooting splits.
