
UCLA Men's Golf Secures Platform Golf Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. – The UCLA men's golf program has earned a 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, as announced on Tuesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Men's golf programs who secured team grade-point averages (GPA) of 3.0 or better have been listed as Platform Golf Team Academic Award recipients. The GCAA honors collegiate programs who have a secured team GPA over 3.0 and 3.5.
UCLA was among multiple NCAA Division I programs to earn "All-Academic" distinction with a GPA of 3.0 or better. The Bruins concluded their 2024-25 season at the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2018 after having won the 2025 Big Ten Championship.
Senior Pablo Ereño was recognized this summer as a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar for the third consecutive season. Ereño, the 2024-25 Big Ten Men's Golfer of the Year, was named an Academic All-America® Men's At-Large first-team honoree once the Bruins' spring season ended.
Redshirt sophomore Matthew Yamin was honored at the conclusion of the school year on UCLA's All-Academic Team, which is comprised of the individual from each athletics team with the highest cumulative GPA.
