March 30, 2026 | Gymnastics
Chiles becomes just the first second Bruin ever to earn the maximum five first-team regular season All-America honors, joining Kyla Ross who achieved this in 2019. Chiles is the only gymnast in the NCAA to finish the 2026 regular season ranked in the Top 5 in the all-around and on all four events. She is No. 2 in the all-around, No. 1 on floor exercise, No. 3 on vault and No. 4 on uneven bars and balance beam. She now has a total of 21 All-America honors, three away from Ross' school record of 24.
Alipio receives her second consecutive regular season All-America honor on balance beam, earning first-team honors. She is now a three-time All-American and two-time first-team All-American. Alipio ranks No. 5 in the nation on balance beam and has been ranked Top 5 for 10 weeks of the season. She holds a NQS of 9.950 and a season-high of 9.975.
First-team All-Americans are awarded to the top eight finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four events plus the all-around. Second-team All-America honors are awarded to the ninth through 16th place finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four events plus the all-around. UCLA has collected a total of 93 regular season All-America honors since the WCGA added the regular season awards in 2013.
