Three-year varsity water polo and swimming letterwinner at Murrieta Valley High School under head coaches Bryan Lynton and Genevive Barrow, respectively...named the 2006 CIF Southern Section Division V Player of the Year and 2006 Southern California Water Polo Coaches Association Division V Player of the Year (and first-team selection)...as a senior in 2006, helped guide Murrieta Valley to a 30-3 record and the CIF Southern Section Division V title, the first in school history...scored 111 goals and added 29 assists his senior season...also named the 2006 Riverside Press-Enterprise boys' water polo player of the year...earned 2006 second-team California-Hawaii All-America accolades...captured 2006 Player of the Year honors (boys' water polo) from the Riverside Press Enterprise...also named the 2006 Californian's All-Valley boys' water polo player of the year...totaled 112 goals and 54 assists as a junior (2005)...led Murrieta Valley to the 2005 CIF-SS Division V championship game, an 8-7 loss to Riverside Poly...recognized by the Peer Leadership Program as student of the year in 2006; graduated with honors in June 2007...named to the Honor Roll as a junior, sophomore and freshman; earned All-Academic Team honors as a freshman.
