  • UCLA is 4-1 in overtime contests, with its only loss coming at the hands of California in 2000. The Bruins last overtime win was in 1999 when they defeated Washington, 23-20 on November 13.

  • With three sacks today, Dave Ball now has 11.5 sacks on the season, which already ranks fourth among Bruin single-season marks. Ball also has 26 sacks on his career, which rank second in the Bruin career record books.

  • Craig Bragg recorded his ninth career touchdown reception of at least 40 yards with his 40-yard reception in the third quarter. It was also the second such touchdown of the season for Bragg.
  • Spencer Havner's two blocked field goals in the game are believed to be a Bruin single-game record. He is the first Bruin to block two field goals in a season since Larry Atkins in 1997.

  • Brandon Chillar's touchdown on the blocked field goal was the first UCLA field goal return touchdown since 1961 when Kermit Alexander returned a blocked field goal for 87 yards at Stanford. Today's score was the second in UCLA history.
