Six Bruins Earn All-American Honors
The American Water Polo Coaches Association has named its All-American team for the 2003 season. A total of six Bruins earned All-American honors. Senior Robin Beauregard and junior Natalie Golda were named to the first team, senior goalie Jaime Hipp was named to the second team and seniors Maureen Flanagan and Jessica Lopez and freshman Kelly Rulon were named to the third team.

This is the fourth time that Robin Beauregard has earned All-America honors and it is the third consecutive year that she has been named to the first team. This season Beauregard led the Bruins with 33 assists and 42 steals and was named the NCAA tournament's Most Outstanding Player for helping lead the Bruins to their sixth national championship.

This is the first time that Natalie Golda has been named a first team All-American. This season Golda led the Bruins with 50 goals and was also named to the All-MPSF first team. Goalie Jaime Hipp is also a four time selection to the All-American Team, this is the second year in a row that she has been named to the second team. For the 2003 season Hipp recorded 194 saves with a goals against average of 3.14.

Jessica Lopez earned All-American honors for the second time with her selection as a third team All-American. Lopez finished the season with 22 goals and 26 assists. Maureen Flanagan is a first time All-American with her selection to the third team. Flanagan finished the 2003 season with 22 goals and 26 assists. Freshman Kelly Rulon also earned third team All-American honors and was second on the Bruins with 27 goals and 32 assists.

The Player of the Year for Division 1, for the second consecutive season, is goaltender Jackie Frank from Stanford.
