Two Bruins Named to MPSF All-Academic Team

Juniors Jeremy Casebeer and Thomas Amberg were named to the MPSF All-Academic team as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
This is the second time that Amberg has been named to the All-Academic team while this is the first honor for Casebeer. Amberg registered a 3.01 GPA as sociology major while Casebeer scored a 3.12 GPA as a political science major.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically, must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season and have contributed in 50% or more of a school's competition that season.
A total of 16 Bruins on the 2011 roster own a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
