Chandler Hoffman Named PDL Player Of The Week

UCLA junior forward Chandler Hoffman was selected the USL Premier Development League (PDL) Player of the Week for Week 7 of the season. Hoffman, who plays for the Orange County Blue Star in the PDL, scored five goals for his team, which went 3-0 during last week's play.
Hoffman started his week with a hat trick in a 5-2 win over the LA Blues 23 on June 7 and scored the game's first goal in a 2-1 win on June 10 at BYU. On June 11, Hoffman scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 3-2 victory over the Ogden Outlaws. Hoffman leads the PDL with 10 goals and 24 points in eight games.
Hoffman's UCLA and Orange County teammate Fernando Monge was also honored, earning honorable mention acclaim to the PDL Team of the Week after compiling three goals and four assists in the team's three games.
Orange County next plays on Saturday, June 18 against Ogden at 5 pm at Concordia University.
