Celebrating 40 Years of Title IX
UCLABruins.com's Title IX tribute continues with part 2 of a conversation with Dr. Judith Holland about the history of women's athletics at UCLA.
Holland arrived at UCLA in 1974 with a women's athletics budget of $268,000 and a task of hiring coaches and identifying athletes. When she retired in 1996, she left behind a legacy as the nation's foremost women's athletics administrator, turning UCLA into one of the premier programs in the nation.
