2002-03 - Arguably the nation's top female collegiate 800m/1500m runner, Nilsson last fall also paced the Bruins in cross country ... Earned All-American honors at the NCAA (17th, 20:10.0) and led UCLA at the Regional (2nd, 20:45) and Pac-10 (3rd, 20:01, earning first-team All-Pac-10) meets ... In indoor track, Nilsson won the NCAA 800m (2:05.13) and was also 13th (9:30.73) in the 3000m ... In outdoor track, she placed second (4:09.86) in the NCAA 1500m, won the 800m (2:04.13)/1500m (4:19.07) at the Regional Championships, at the Pac-10 became the first women's athlete in meet history to repeat as the 800m (2:03.86, season-best)/1500m (4:13.21, meet record) champion and broke her own school record in the 1500m (4:07.69) ... For the second year in a row was named the Pac-10 Women's T & F Athlete of the Year.

2001-02 -- In cross country, Nilsson came on at the end of the season to win the CS Fullerton II Invitational and was UCLA's No. 5 finisher at both the Pac-10 and NCAA West Region and fourth-best finisher at the NCAA Championships ... Honorable Mention Academic All-Pac-10 ... Outstanding breakthrough season in track ... At the NCAA Indoor, Nilsson ran the anchor leg (1600m) on UCLA's winning distance medley relay (10:58.19) and placed second (4:38.88, 4:43.16Q) in the mile ... Earned Academic MPSF Indoor honors ... Outdoors, on Aug. 17-18 in Gavle, Sweden, Nilsson won the 800m (2:04.85) and 1500m (4:17.73) titles ... On Aug. 13 in Malmo, Sweden, she set a new school record in the 800m (2:02.26), breaking teammate Tiffany Burgess' mark of 2:03.73 set on May 4 ... On August 10 at the European Championships in Munich, Germany, Nilsson was the youngest competitor in the 1500m and equaled her then-school record (4:09.89) in a semi-final heat ... On July 6 in Brunswick, ME, she set the school record in the 1500m, breaking Francie Larrieu's mark of 4:10.3 (1974) ... At the NCAA Outdoor, Nilsson won the 1500m (4:12.60) ... Became only the second athlete in Pac-10 meet history to win both the 800m (2:03.88) and 1500m (4:20.81) and was named the conference Women's T & F Athlete of the Year.

2000-01 -- Was the Swedish National Outdoor champion in the 1500m (4:24.63) ... On Aug. 16 in Zurich, Switzerland, Nilsson ran a 2:05.13 800m, at the time the second-fastest time in school history ... In track as a redshirt freshman in the 800m, Nilsson placed ninth (2:11.95, 2:07.00Q) at the NCAA Outdoor and third (2:06.08) at the Pac-10 ...Before Zurich, her season-best 800m time was 2:06.47 and she had the team's leading 1500m mark (4:23.17) ... Honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10.

1999-00 -- Redshirted in cross country and track because of a stress reaction of the left tibia.

High School -- As a prepster in Sweden, Nilsson was the Swedish Junior Champion in distances from 800m through 3000m 16 times between 1995 and 1999 ... In 1998, she set the Swedish junior record in the 800m (2:03.9) ... Placed third in the 800m at the 1997 Swedish Junior championships ... In 1996, she was the Swedish 800m champ ... At the European Junior Championships, she placed fifth in the 800m and sixth in the 1500m ... Prep bests were 2:03.90 (800m) and 4:16.94 (1500m).
