2000 — Williams made his 22nd straight start against USC despite playing with a sprained ankle and an injured right shoulder … His streak ended with the Sun Bowl, due to surgery on the shoulder … Against Oregon State, he made a career-high five tackles, including one for loss … On the year, Williams finished with 17 stops and was tied for second on the squad with two fumble recoveries … He started all 11 regular season games and played at least 40 snaps six times, including 73 at Oregon, 72 versus Oregon State and 61 against Michigan … Also played on the field goal block special teams.
