2004: Played on Mar. 11 vs. Long Beach State and in the second game of the May 15 doubleheader against Arizona State. Connected on a single against the Sun Devils in May.
2003: Pinch-hit in the second game of UCLA's doubleheader at UC Riverside on Feb. 5. Walked and scored in that plate appearance. Also pinch-hit at Fresno State on Mar. 9 and in the first game of the Arizona State doubleheader on May 10. Came in as a defensive replacement for UCLA in the fourth inning of game two at Arizona State. Caught the final two innings of the game, recording her first career putout on a Michelle Turner strikeout to open the bottom of the fifth inning.
2002: Pinch-hit in three games, Feb. 9 vs. Texas, Feb. 15 vs. Texas Tech and Feb. 20 in G1 vs. UC Riverside. Earned her first career hit on Feb. 20 vs. Riverside.
High School: Orange Lutheran won the CIF title Sandberg's senior year. Named first-team All-League as a senior. Four-year letterwinner as a catcher and first baseman in softball. Played four years of volleyball as a defensive specialist, earning one letter. Played ASA ball with American Pastime. Team finished seventh at nationals in 2000.
