Junior midfielder Adolfo Gregorio (Hilmar, CA/Hilmar HS) of the UCLA Men's Soccer Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Aug. 26-Sept. 2.
Gregorio scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in UCLA's 4-1 season-opening victory over Boston University of Aug. 30. His two-goal game was the first multiple-goal game of his collegiate career, and he leads the sixth-ranked Bruins with five points after just two games.
Gregorio was also selected the Pac-10 Player of the Week for the first time.
This is Gregorio's first UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and his career.
