Postgame Notes – UCLA at Arizona
– Arizona is just the second opponent to score at least 20 points in a game against the Bruins this season (also at Oregon State – 36).
– Arizona’s rushing yards total of 129 is the second-most allowed by UCLA this season. The previous opponent high was 133 yards by Oregon State. Only two previous opponents had rushed for as much as 100 yards in a game this season (Oregon State and Utah-102).
– UCLA has not surrendered a touchdown on an opponent’s initial drive of the game this season. Colorado and Oregon State have scored the only opponent first-drive points on field goals.
– UCLA went scoreless in the first quarter of tonight’s game at Arizona and has been scoreless in the first quarter of five of the six Pac-12 Conference games this season. The Bruins scored their only first-quarter points in a win at Stanford.
– Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita’s second-quarter run of 18 yards was the longest by an opponent rusher against the Bruins this season. The previous long run was 16 yards by four different opponent rushers.
