Postgame Notes – Oregon 34, UCLA 13

Postgame Notes
UCLA vs. Oregon
Sept. 28, 2024

- DB Bryan Addison had a 96-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the first half. It was the first pick-six of his career, and fifth interception overall. It was also the first INT in a Bruin uniform for the Oregon transfer.

- Addison’s 96-yard interception return was UCLA’s longest since Ishmael Adams also had a 96-yard pick-six against Colorado in 2015.

- K Mateen Bhaghani connected on a career-long 54-yard field goal in the third quarter. It was UCLA’s longest field goal since Ka’imi Fairbairn converted on a program-record 60-yard attempt against California in 2015.

- Bhaghani’s 54-yarder is tied for the fourth-longest in UCLA history (with Kai Forbath, 2007 vs. Oregon). His previous career-best was 47 yards, accomplished last week at LSU.

- LB Carson Schwesinger led the Bruins with 13 total tackles on Saturday. It was the third time in four games this season that Schwesinger paced the Bruins in tackles, and marked his second straight contest with double-digit tackles.

- Schwesinger’s 13 tackles were the most by a Bruin in a single game since Mo Osling III had 15 in UCLA’s 2022 matchup with Oregon.

- RB T.J. Harden had a 21-yard rush early in the third quarter, representing a new season-long. He also had an 18-yard rush later in the third quarter, giving him his two longest rushes of the 2024 campaign thus far.

- WR Kwazi Gilmer made his first-career start. He led the team with four receptions, for 31 yards.

- DL Siale Taupaki made his first-career start, posting six total tackles (3-3-6).

- DL Cherif Seye and RB Isaiah Carlson made their season debuts. Seye was making his first appearance in a UCLA uniform after transferring from Florida A&M.
