Shaun tied for 19th at the SCGA Amateur (+1, 289) and tied for 38th at the California State Fair Men's Amateur Championship (-2, 214) ... qualified for the U.S. Amateur, which was played at Riviera and Bel-Air Country Clubs.
2016-2017
Played in eight tournaments and 24 rounds, recording a scoring average of 74.5 ... had a pair of Top 20 showings at the Western Intercollegiate (T-16, +4, 214) and the Pac-12 Championships (T-17, +7, 217) ... had four under-par rounds, including the first two rounds at the Amer Ari Invitational (-2/70, -3/69), where he tied for 27th (-4, 212) ... posted a career-low round of 67 (-4) in the final round of the Arizona Intercollegiate ... shot a 1-under 69 in the final round at Pac-12s ... was named to the GCAA All-America Scholar Team, as well as Pac-12 Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention.
2015-2016
Appeared in five tournaments (15 rounds) and posted a 75.4 scoring average ... had three under-par rounds, all coming at the Amer Ari Invitational (Feb. 4-6) with a trio of 70's ... finished T-10 in that tournament (-6, 210) ... also played at the Northern Intercollegiate (T-45, +15, 231), the Gifford Collegiate (T-51, +12, 225), The Hayt (T-51, +13, 229) and the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters (T-72, +20, 236).
2014-2015
Played in four tournaments (12 rounds) and posted a 74.9 scoring average ... had a pair of under-par rounds, both at the TMC Spring Invitational, where he tied for sixth (+1, 217) ... also played at the Erin Hills Invitational (T-42, +14, 230), the Gifford Collegiate (T-45, +8, 221) and the Husky Invitational (T-55, +15, 231).
AMATEUR AND JUNIOR GOLF
Won three AJGA events: 2010 Junior All-Star at Chateau Elan (74-71-72-217), 2011 AJGA Genesis Junior (69-68-65-202, -14), 2013 AJGA Junior Challenge at Oak Valley (69-68-68-205, -11) ... also won the following junior events: 2013 Toyota Tour Cup Invitational at Westin Mission Hills (72-66-68-206, -10) and 2013 San Diego Jr. Amateur (66-67-72-205, -8) ... advanced to the Round of 32 at the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur after tying for 45th place (149, +5) in stroke play ... 2011 and 2013 AJGA Honorable Mention Rolex All-American ... 2013 AJGA HP Scholastic All-American.
