2017-18:
Ally Rosenblum played in 20-of-35 games, making zero starts, averaging 6.0 minutes per game โฆ also averaged 1.2ย points, 1.4ย rebounds, 0.2ย blocks, 0.2 assists and 0.1 stealsย per game โฆ scored at least one point in 10-of-20ย games and at least one reboundsย in 12-of-20ย games โฆ scored a season-highย eight points and added one rebound, one assist and one block in 11 minutesย in a home blowout win over Presbyterian College (Nov. 12)ย โฆ scored two points and added one block and a season-high and career-high-tying six rebounds (for the fourth time)ย in a blowout win at Colorado (Jan. 14) in nine minutesย โฆ spent the summer (July 7-15, 2018) as a member of the U20 Women's National Team from Israel that traveled to Oradea, Romania for the FIBAย U20 Women's European Division B Championshipย โฆ Israel (3-4) finished in sixth place, one spot better than in 2017, with Rosenblum averaging 8.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game whileย starting all seven contestsย at center.
2016-17:
Rosenblum played in 12-of-34 games before sitting out the remainder of the season with an undisclosed injury โฆ scored at least one point in 6-of-12 games and tallied at least one rebound in 10-of-12 games โฆ had a season-high-tying five points and six rebounds in the season-opening win at home over Pacific (Nov. 11) โฆ also scored five points and added five rebounds in a home win over Cal Poly (Nov. 20) โฆ registered three points and tallied a season-high-tying six rebounds and one assist in a home win over Southern (Nov. 18) โฆ tallied two points, a season-high two assists, her only steal on the year and tied her season-high of six boards in a win at North Carolina A&T (Dec. 20) โฆ played three minutes in a home win over #20 Colorado (Jan. 1) before the injury forced her to miss the rest of the year.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Ally Rosenblum was a four-year letterwinner at Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, Calif.) under head coach Kevin Kiernanย ... averaged 17.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game as a senior in 2015-16 as the Monarchs went 27-6 overall and 8-0 in the Trinity Leagueย ย ... MDHS has won nine straight league titles, winning 66 consecutive league gamesย ... averaged 10.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game in 2014-15 as the Monarchs went 31-3 overall and undefeated in league play (8-0), finishing No. 1 in California and No. 6 in the nation, capping a run of seven straight years with a top 10 national ranking at the end of the seasonย ... was selected as a First Team All-State player in 2014-15 and again in 2015-16 and was a Second Team pick as a sophomore in 2013-14ย ... that season her team went 27-3 overall and 9-0 in Trinity League play, ranking No. 1 in California and No. 3 nationallyย ... she was a three-time All-League performer and was named the MVP after her senior season (2015-16)ย ... was a member of the U18 National Team for Israel in the summer of 2016ย and traveled to France for a tournamentย ... Full name: Allyson Paige Rosenblum, prefers Ally โฆย her parents are David and Tiffany Rosenblum โฆ her father attended UCLA โฆ has one older sister, Rachel, and a younger brother, Joshua โฆ says she chose to attend UCLA because โI loved the coaching staff and their vision and love that head coach Cori Close is focused on developing a total woman and not just a basketball player. UCLA is top academically and has a history of excellence. I just love what UCLA is about.โ โฆ names former Los Angeles Lakersโ star Kobe Bryant as the famous athlete she admires โฆ lists the biggest thrill of her athletic career as โWhen we won the Southern California Regional Championship. Chaminade had delivered us our only two losses of the year, each by only one point. We were down most of the game but came back to win it.โ โฆ has yet to declare a major.
