Jill Andrews

Jill Andrews competed in the all-around in every meet of her four-year UCLA career from 1987-90 and won the prestigious Honda Award in 1990 as the top collegiate gymnast in the nation. Andrews was a two-time Pac-10 Gymnast of the Year and won a total of five Pac-10 championships. At the national level, she won NCAA individual titles on vault in 1988 and on beam in 1989 and placed second in the all-around in 1988. She finished her career with eight first-team All-America honors and was selected the 1990 UCLA All-University Athlete. Andrews excelled academically as one of UCLA’s all-time great student-athletes. In 1990, she earned Academic All-America honors, received a NCAA post-graduate scholarship and was awarded the NCAA Top Six Award. In addition, she was a Woody Hayes National Scholar-Athlete Award winner. She was also honored by UCLA Gymnastics with a team award named after her, the annual Jill Andrews award for integrity.
