HONOLULU - No. 3 UCLA continued their dominance in the 3rd Annual Rainbow Wahine Water Polo Challenge, defeating No. 8 Hawaii 12-2. This gave UCLA a perfect 3-0 record in the round-robin tournament. Hawaii finished runner-up at 2-1.
The Bruins 12 points were the lowest output they had for the tournament. Four Bruins had multiple goals, led by Kelly Heuchan. Ashley Stachowski, Mo Flanagan, and tournament MVP Elaine Zivich all had two goals apiece. Wahine Robin Jones was the only Hawaii offense, scoring two goals for the second time in the tournament.
