Freshman center defender Michael March (Newport Coast, CA/Corona del Mar HS) of the UCLA Men's Water Polo Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 18-25.
March set a new career-high on Saturday with four goals in the Bruins' 12-10 victory over cross-town rival and third-ranked USC. March scored all of his goals in the second half to help UCLA increase its lead after being ahead by only one goal at the half. Three of his four goals came on extra-man opportunities, and his scoring total was a game-high. March now has 15 goals this season to rank third on the team.
This is March's first UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and his career.
