In today's MPSF match-up against cross-town rival USC, the Bruins won 9-8. With the victory, the Bruins improve to 16-3 overall, 8-1 MPSF. Junior Jessica Lopez netted the winning Bruin goal on a power play with 4:43 remaining in the game.
Lopez led UCLA in scoring, netting a hat trick. Senior Kelly Heuchan and freshman Amber Stachowski each scored a pair of goals. Junior Robin Beauregard and senior Jenny Lamb also scored for the Bruins. Junior goalie Jaime Hipp had 5 saves in the game.
Tomorrow, the Bruins will face No. 11 Hawaii in Honolulu, HI at 8:00 PM PST.
